- Make sure that Intkey
(version 5 or newer) is installed on your system.
- If you do not
already have Intkey, the windows95 version can be obtained from here or can be obtained directly from the Delta Programs Page. The
entire Delta suite, which allows you to create your own keys, can be
obtained here.
- After
choosing a link, you will probably be prompted with a Save As dialog. You
can then save the file in any directory and with any name you want (e.g.
c:\intk32.exe)
- To
install the program for Windows 95, simply click on the Start menu, Click
on the Run option, and then type in the full path and name of your file
(e.g. c:\delt32.exe. NOTE: YOU SHOULD EXIT NETSCAPE BEFORE RUNNING THE
FILE delt32.exe)
- You can now return to the Datasets and click on one of the links to start
an interactive identification session using intkey.
- Once you have selected
an interactive key an image of a representative taxon will appear.
Click on this and you will be taken to the Intkey menu. Click on an
appropriate character to begin the identification process.
